Transforming lives through offering food, shelter, hope and support to the most vulnerable in our community

Queens Award

Our Celebration and AGM 2017

Thank you to all of you who came to our AGM last month – it was wonderful to see so many of you there! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Our Treasurer, Donna, gave us an excellent summary of our finances, followed by a talk from CEO Jonathan about the challenges we face and our plans for the future. We also heard from each of our four projects, the Wild Goose, Spring of Hope, Life Recovery and East Bristol Foodbank, and we were fortunate enough to witness some of our clients sharing powerful testimonies from their journeys.

This year we were also joined by the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees. Marvin talked about the current homelessness crisis facing Bristol, and how he sees rough sleeping as just ‘the tip of the iceberg’. He also discussed his plans to tackle hunger in the city, as well the housing crisis. Regarding the work of Crisis Centre Ministries, he said he wants to work with us to transform the city, and he welcomes our input in shaping his vision for Bristol.

We hope you’ll join us again next year! If you haven’t got a copy yet, you can find our 2016/17 Annual Report and Accounts here:
