We welcome and invite the support of businesses and organisations to support our charity to deliver the vital services depended on by hundreds of people living on the streets, in poverty and in damaging circumstances.
As a business or organisation, you are in an unique position to offer your company services to provide valuable support to us or to help us achieve a bigger task (like painting or renovation) that requires a large group of volunteers. We are always looking for corporate supporters to partner with us. Here are some ideas how your company could get involved:
Charity of the Year
Many organisations have a charity of the year to organise their fundraising and volunteering dedicated to that charity. Please do consider us as your charity of the year.
Corporate Volunteer Days
You could come and serve with us for your corporate volunteer day as a team-building experience for your team, and also enable us to run vital services for those in need. Please contact Steve Smith, Volunteer Coordinator on 0117 405 7112, email@example.com for more information.
Does your organisation run fundraising events in support of a charity’s work? We would love to be your beneficiary charity as without your help and support we could not run our essential services.
Could your company share your services to support our charity to run better, strategically and with specialist support? We are particularly seeking IT & website support, building maintenance & cleaning, computer equipment and financial auditing. Please contact Ruth Cooper, Finance & Operations Manager on 0117 405 7110, firstname.lastname@example.org to have an informal chat.
Many organisations run a matched funding scheme where they'll match an employee’s fundraising from a sponsored event meaning your efforts are doubled. If you are fundraising for us, do check with your company whether they do matched funding. Or you can encourage your company to fundraise for us by running a matched funding scheme.
You can donate regularly to a charity of your choice by donating directly from your monthly payslip before tax has been deducted. For every £1 you donate, it will only cost you 80p if you are a basic taxpayer, and if you are a higher taxpayer it would be 60p. The taxman pays the rest! Check with your human resources dept about how you can set up payroll giving.
