Current Opportunities

Fundraising & Communications' Roles
Through a redesign of our Fundraising and Communications team, which supports all aspects of Crisis Centre Ministries’ work, three new part-time roles have been created. Each role has been designed to support specific aspects of our Fundraising and Communications strategy. The strategy seeks to attract income to cover the costs of our project areas and of supporting functions/facilities; raise public awareness, build partnerships and communicate our impact.
Grants Officer (24 hours per week): apply your persuasive writing skills and experience to preparing applications and submitting reports to trusts and foundations, thereby meeting or exceeding an income target of £170k for 2017/18.
Communications Officer (24 hours per week): apply your compelling writing and communications skills using a range of platforms to grow our support base and increase our presence.
Supporter Care Officer (16 hours per week): apply your administrative skills and experience to ensure that our supporter data (inclusive of Data Protection) and communications are managed in accordance with good practice. To support income generation tasks led by others.
  • Salaries: within the range £18,200 to £23,920 pa, subject to qualification/experience, paid on a pro-rata basis.
  • Work Pattern: to be agreed with the Fundraising and Communications Manager.
Crisis Centre Ministries is a Christian charity that has been working in Bristol for over 30 years. We are dedicated to helping those with life disrupting problems, such as homelessness and addiction, to establish healthy and independent lives.
