Volunteering behind-the-scenes

Not everyone who helps at CCM volunteers at one of our projects. Below are some ways in which you can help in the day-to-day running of the charity. If you'd like to give your time in this way, or simply would like more information, please contact our Volunteers Coordinator, Steve Smith. You can email him at steve.smith@crisis-centre.org.uk, or call him on 0117 405 7112.

Volunteer admin assistant

We'd hugely appreciate anyone who was willing to give their time as a volunteer administrator. This would involve reception duties, responding to enquiries at the door, over the phone or via email. Assistance with other administrative tasks would also be greatly appreciated.

Fundraising admin support

This role includes providing occasional help with mail-outs (mainly packing our supporter magazines), as well as preparing resources for fundraising events.

Volunteer ambassador

If you're passionate about the work of CCM and would like to share that passion with others, how about becoming a CCM ambassador? We're looking for people who would like to give talks about Crisis Centre Ministries to different community groups in Bristol, including churches, schools and at fundraising events.

Events volunteer

If you'd be happy to help out at occasional events, we'd love to hear from you. This might involve staffing a display stand or a fair stall, holding a collection bucket or stewarding at fundraising events.

Publicity focus group volunteer

If you receive Streetwise, our supporter magazine, or our email newsletters, or follow us on social media, we'd like to know what you think. Please get in contact if you'd like to be part of a focus group to review our publicity materials.
