Job Opportunity: Wild Goose Drop-in Centre Manager

“The Wild Goose saved my life by feeding me when I had nothing.”

– Former homeless person and recovered alcoholic.

The Wild Goose Drop-in Centre is the longest standing project of Crisis Centre Ministries. Through it we serve a wide cross-section of Bristol’s homeless community and those in temporary/supported accommodation. Alongside the provision of food we seek to engage with our service users and support them out of homelessness. We accept each person who comes, before we ask anything.

We’re pursuing the development of all our project areas to meet the increasing and changing needs of those we serve. We have our own plans, but what are your ideas? What is your vision for the development of this Drop-in service? We’re looking for someone who can bring their experience of running an efficient and inclusive service for the homeless, leading a team and engaging wider stakeholders through building strong partnerships. You will be an organised person and give attention to detail; you will be a leader bringing vision into reality; you will be passionate about delivering good food and high quality support services alongside advocating for service users.

As Wild Goose Drop-in Centre Manager you will be a full member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the CEO.

  • Salary: Management scale which starts at £27k PA.
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week.
  • Work place pension with matched contribution of up to 5%.
